Opel has taken the wraps off the new Corsa 1.4 Turbo.
As the name suggests, the car has a turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 150 PS (110 kW) and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a six-speed transmission which enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 8.9 seconds before hitting a top speed of 207 km/h (128 mph). In terms of fuel efficiency, the car returns 5.9L/100km (39.8 mpg US / 47.8 mpg UK) and has CO2 emissions of 136 g/km.
The Corsa 1.4 Turbo will be offered as a three- and five-door hatchback and pricing starts at €17,380 in Germany. Customers can also order an optional Turbo Plus Package that adds front and rear spoilers, revised side skirts and faux carbon fiber mirror caps - among other things.
