Nissan Sway concept could eventually go into production

Nissan recently unveiled the Sway concept at the Geneva Motor Show and a new report is indicating it could eventually go into production.

 

In an interview with Automotive News, Nissan Senior Vice President and Chief Creative Officer Shiro Nakamura said the model hints at what a future hatchback could look like. He declined to go into specifics but suggested a production model could be renamed and be offered in Europe as well as the United States.

 

While Nakamura was coy on specifics, Nissan has previously said the concept was designed to "shake up the compact hatchback segment" with its "swooping lines, striking nose, [and] elegantly simple interior."
