奔驰将于今年下半年发布SLK中期改款车,不过新车名称将改为SLC,该车合成图近日曝光。从图片看，新车外观进行了轻度改款，采用了奔驰家族最新设计语言。从先前拍到的谍照看，前脸进行了改款，前大灯造型很可能模仿与最近发布的新车，同时保险杠也进行了改款。或许新车将采用新的尾灯组和改款后保险杠及排气尾管。预计旗舰级车型SLK 55 AMG将被SLC 63所替代，后者很可能搭载一台取自C63的4.0升V8双涡轮增压引擎，功率350千瓦/476马力，扭矩650牛米，而S版本功率提升至375千瓦/510马力，扭矩700牛米。新车很可能会在9月的法兰克福车展首次亮相。

 

Mercedes-Benz SLC render shows very possible design

The upcoming facelift for the Mercedes-Benz SLK has been speculatively rendered ahead of a possible launch in the second half of the year.

 

Mercedes-Benz started selling the SLK (R172 generation) approximately four years ago so naturally time has come for a mid-cycle refresh which will come bundled with a name change. It will be commercialized as the "SLC" and will receive a series of mild cosmetic tweaks to align the styling with Mercedes-Benz's latest design language.

 

Prototypes have already been caught on camera undergoing testing and hiding a revised front fascia which will likely borrow most of the headlight design from recent models while the bumper should also be restyled. It's the same story at the back where there will probably be different graphics for the taillights along with a reshaped bumper and updated exhaust tips featuring a cleaner design.

 

Expect the flagship SLK 55 AMG to be replaced by the Mercedes-AMG SLC 63 which will likely be motivated by a twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter engine sourced from the C63 where it delivers 476 HP (350 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) in the standard model and 510 HP (375 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) in the C63 S.

 

Chances are Mercedes-Benz will introduce the SLC in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
