Mitsubishi Outlander Sport gains a new 2.4-liter engine
Mitsubishi has announced the 2015 Outlander Sport will now be offered with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 168 bhp (125 kW).
Available on the $21,295 Outlander Sport 2.4 ES, the engine produces 20 bhp (15 kW) more than models equipped with the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine.
The engine will also be available in the Outlander Sport 2.4 GT which starts at $23,595. This higher-end variant comes equipped with aluminum pedals, a power driver's seat and exterior mirrors with integrated LED turn indicators. Customers can also order two different packages with add premium leather upholstery, a panoramic glass roof and GPS navigation - among other things.
