2016 Infiniti QX50 unveiled with revised styling and a longer wheelbase
Infiniti has introduced the 2016 QX50 at the New York Auto Show.
Looking virtually identical to the Chinese-spec variant, the facelifted model has modified bumpers, a revised grille and new LED daytime running lights. The crossover also has restyled mirrors, an increased ride height and 18-inch alloy wheels.
The biggest change happens to be the wheelbase which grows 110.2 inches to 113.4 inches. A majority of the additional room benefits rear seat passengers as rear legroom grows by 4.3 inches and rear knee room increases by 3.9 inches.
The interior largely carries over but there's additional standard equipment including heated front seats and a moonroof. There's also a new Premium Plus Package which adds GPS navigation, an Around View Monitor and front / rear parking sensors.
Power is provided by a 3.7-liter V6 that produces 325 bhp (242 kW) and 267 lb-ft (361 Nm) of torque. It is connected to a seven-speed automatic transmission which can be paired to an optional all-wheel drive system.
