雪佛兰在纽约车展发布了全新2016款迈瑞宝。虽然新车长度增加58毫米，轴距增加91毫米，内部空间更为宽敞，但由于采用轻量化措施，车重比上代车型降低了136公斤。新车外观非常抢眼，车身线条更为流畅，车顶更为顺滑，整体更富曲线感，也更饱满，使这辆中级车外观更具吸引力。内装方面，新车的后排腿部空间增加了33毫米。前排中控台集成了7英寸彩色显示屏，而更高端版本显示屏尺寸增大到8英寸。某些版本后排配备双USB接口和11伏电源插口，如果选择高端版本还可提供手机无线充电功能。父母可以通过迈锐宝上搭装TeenDriver监控系统帮助家长对孩子的驾驶行为进行掌控。为提升安全性，新一代迈瑞宝还标配10气囊，倒车摄像头，前方行人警示，新车道保持辅助及车道偏离警示系统，自适应巡航控制及自动刹车系统，自动泊车辅助等主动和被动安全系统。至于动力系统，新车的选择更丰富，其中混动版本包括一台1.8升四缸直喷汽油引擎和双电机，综合输出功率136千瓦/182马力，电机由80组1.5千瓦锂电池供电。在纯电动模式下最高时速88公里，如果速度进一步提升，汽油引擎将及时激活提供更强动力。该车还配备制动能量回收系统，而内燃机引擎也具备了废气热回收系统，可利用废气热能为引擎和车厢内加温。混动版百公里综合油耗5.2升。至于其他动力系统，入门级车型搭载一台新开发的1.5升Ecotec涡轮增压汽油引擎，功率119千瓦/160马力，扭矩250牛米，搭配六速自动变速器。该引擎搭配停启系统，城市道路百公里油耗8.7升，高速路6.3升。此外还有一台2.0升涡轮增压引擎，功率186千瓦/250马力，扭矩350牛米，城市道路百公里油耗10.6升，高速路7.3升，搭配八速自动变速器。雪佛兰表示，2016款迈瑞宝将于今年四季度上市，可提供L, LS, LT, Premier和混动多个版本。

 

2016 Chevrolet Malibu debuts in New York with 300 lbs weight loss

Chevrolet has introduced the all-new Malibu at the 2015 New York Auto Show. 

 

Even though it's 2.3 inches (58mm) longer than before, the next generation Malibu is almost 300 lbs (136 kg) lighter and provides a more spacious cabin thanks to the stretched wheelbase which has been extended by 3.6 inches (91 mm). It looks considerably sleeker compared to its predecessor and comes with a sloped roofline and a more curvaceous body making the mid-size sedan appear more refined. 

 

In terms of power, Chevrolet will offer the 2016 Malibu with a newly developed 1.5-liter Ecotec turbocharged gasoline engine developing an estimated 160 bhp (119 kW) and 184 lb-ft (250 Nm). Equipped with a stop/start system, the new engine enables the Malibu to return an estimated 27 mpg (32.4 mpg UK or 8.7 liters / 100 km) in the city and 37 mpg (44 mpg UK or 6.3 liters / 100 km) on the highway. 

 

There's also a beefier 2.0-liter turbo with an estimated 250 bhp (186 kW) and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) which they say will do 22 mpg (26.4 mpg UK or 10.6 liters / 100 km) city and 32 mpg (38.4 mpg UK or 7.3 liters / 100 km) highway. While the 1.5-liter works with a six-speed auto, this larger motor is paired to a new eight-speed automatic transmission. 

Chevrolet will also offer the 2016 Malibu with a hybrid setup which will combine a four-cylinder 1.8-liter direct-injection gasoline engine with a two-motor drive unit to provide a combined output of 182 bhp (136 kW). This hardware setup has been adapted from the 2016 Volt and also includes an 80-cell, 1.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. At speeds of up to 55 mph (88 km/h), the Malibu Hybrid can run solely on electric power and at higher speeds the conventional engine will kick in to provide the additional oomph. 

 

The Chevrolet Malibu Hybrid also benefits from regenerative braking while the combustion engine has an Exhaust Gas Heat Recovery (EGHR) system that will use the exhaust heat to warm the engine and cabin. It will return more than 45 mpg (54 mpg UK or 5.2 liters / 100 km) in the combined cycle which Chevrolet says is more than the hybrid versions of the Toyota Camry, Ford Fusion and Hyundai Sonata.

 

As far as the interior cabin is concerned, rear legroom has been extended by 1.3 inches (33mm) thanks to the longer wheelbase while up front there's a 7-inch color capacitive touchscreen or a larger 8-inch display for the upper-spec models. Chevrolet has installed dual rear-seat USB ports and a 110-volt power outlet on select versions and if you go for one of the more expensive trims you also get wireless phone charging. 

 

Parents can rely on the Teen Driver system to keep a closer eye on their kids while ventilated seats make their debut on the Malibu. This ninth generation of the mid-size sedan benefits from a plethora of safety and assistance systems including 10 airbags, rearview camera, Front Pedestrian Alert, New Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control with Front Automatic Braking and Automatic Parking Assist, just to name a few.

 

Chevrolet has announced the 2016 Malibu is set to go on sale in the fourth quarter of the year in the following trims: L, LS, LT, Premier and Hybrid.
