Mercedes-AMG GT S to cost $129,900 in the U.S.

According to documents obtained by Jalopnik, the Mercedes-AMG GT S will be priced from $129,900 when it goes on sale in the United States in April.

 

The memo is short on details but informs dealers the car will come nicely equipped with Nappa leather upholstery, a COMAND infotainment system and a Burmester audio system. The car will also have Keyless-Go and Parktronic technology - among other things.

 

As a refresher, the Mercedes-AMG GT S features a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that develops 510 PS (503 bhp / 375 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission which enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds before hitting an electronically-limited top speed of 310 km/h (193 mph).
