第二代大众途观合成图近日曝光,从图片看,新车外观与大众近日在北美车展发布的Cross Coupe GTE概念车很接近。大众澳大利亚公司经理约翰-怀特（John White）透露，新车将是一款完全重新设计的车型，外形将更抢眼。而在北美车展亮相的Cross Coupe GTE概念车让人看到了大众未来跨界车的设计方向，这也是合成图绘制者Remco Meulendijk以这款概念车为蓝本绘制新一代途观合成图的原因。第二代途观将采用人们熟悉的MQB平台并将提供标准五座版，长轴距七座版和五座运动版三种车型。标准版计划于明年发布并将在大众汉诺威工厂投产，其他两个版本稍后发布。

 

2016 Volkswagen Tiguan rendered with Cross Coupe GTE concept influences

The second generation Volkswagen Tiguan has been rendered with styling cues borrowed from the recently unveiled Cross Coupe GTE concept.

 

It's been several months since we last heard anything about the new Tiguan but at least we already know from Volkswagen Australia managing director John White it will be "totally redesigned" and will look "phenomenal." So far our spy photographers captured on camera only test mules wearing the body of the current model so there aren't any exact details regarding its design. However, the Cross Coupe GTE concept exhibited in Detroit at 2015 NAIAS could give us an idea about the looks of Volkswagen's upcoming compact crossover which is why Remco Meulendijk of RM Design decided to render the revamped Tiguan with a digital variation of the concept's body.

 

The second generation Volkswagen Tiguan is bound to ride on the familiar MQB platform which has also underpinned the Golf VII and will reportedly be offered in three body styles: standard five-seater, long wheelbase with seven seats and also in a sporty five-seater flavor. The standard variant is scheduled to hit the assembly line next year at the Hanover factory in Germany while the other two should follow shortly.
