Range Rover Evoque shows its facelift in Geneva
The Range Rover Evoque has arrived in Geneva with its subtle styling revisions.
Land Rover's posh crossover is one of those cars which are hard to facelift since it's difficult to improve a winning recipe. They have done just that as the revised Evoque manages to look even more appealing after receiving a tweaked front fascia with a different bumper, full LED adaptive headlights, larger air intakes and an updated grille. It has also gained new alloy wheels, a different tailgate spoiler and fresh graphics for the LED taillights.
Underneath the hood is a new Ingenium TD4 engine made from aluminum which will be offered with 150 HP (110 kW) and 180 HP (132 kW). If you prefer a gasoline engine, the 2016 Evoque can be configured with a punchy Si4 turbo delivering 240 HP (177 kW) which is enough muscle to grant the premium crossover with a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 7.6 seconds and a 135 mph (217 km/h) top speed.
The interior cabin has also gone through a few revisions as Land Rover has installed an updated infotainment system packing an 8-inch touchscreen while those who enjoy off-roading will be happy to hear the Evoque now comes with the All-Terrain Progress Control (ATPC) system sourced from the big Range Rover.
Deliveries of the 2016 Range Rover facelift are scheduled to commence in August in more than 170 countries.
