Land Rover Discovery Sport interior previewed

Land Rover has released a short video teasing the interior of the new Discovery Sport that will be revealed in its full glory on September 3rd.

 

The cabin features a versatile 2+3+2 seating layout that was originally previewed on the Discovery Vision Concept in April, earlier this year. The video shows glimpses of the seating in action and also shows a look at the full panoramic roof in action. There is also a short section that shows a blurry look at the new dashboard.

 

The new Discovery Sport will replace the aging Freelander when it is launched in 2015. The aforementioned Discovery Vision Concept provided the inspiration to the styling, albeit slightly modified for production standards.

 

It rides on elongated platform of the 5-door Range Rover Evoque while power will come from 4-cylinder turbocharged gasoline and diesel engines.
