2015 Porsche Cayenne facelift spied with minimal camouflage

The Porsche Cayenne II was introduced four years ago, so the company is preparing a minor facelift for the popular crossover.

 

Recently spotted by our spy photographers, the updated Cayenne has a new front fascia with a revised grille and restyled daytime running lights. The highlights are also camouflaged, so they have likely been updated as well.

 

Out back there isn't much to report but the crossover has been equipped with a new rear bumper and revised taillights.

 

Engine options remain unconfirmed but we wouldn't be surprised if the Cayenne S adopts a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 that produces 420 bhp (313 kW) and 384 lb-ft (520 Nm) of torque. There should also be a new E-Hybrid variant that uses a 3.0-liter V6 engine and an electric motor to produce a combined maximum output of 416 bhp (310 kW) and 435 lb-ft (589 Nm) of torque.

 

The 2015 Cayenne will likely be introduced later this year, so look for a possible debut at an upcoming auto show.
