The 2015 Mercedes C63 AMG Estate has been spied for the first time.

Caught at a gas station, the prototype is heavily disguised but has been equipped with an AMG body kit that includes modified bumpers and revised side skirts. The wagon also has a single bar grille, a four-tailpipe exhaust system and high-performance brakes.

Like the C63 AMG sedan, the wagon will use a new twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that produces at least 450 HP (331 kW). Rumors have also indicated we can expect a performance package which will push that figure past the 500 HP (368 kW) mark.

Despite having a downsized engine, the model is expected to retain the C63 AMG moniker as sources have revealed executives feel the name is "too valuable" to let go.
