Ford to offer a Focus ST Diesel with 182 bhp

Ford recently unveiled the facelifted Focus and now new details are starting to emerge about the Focus ST.

 

According to Auto Express, Ford COO Mark Fields confirmed the model will be offered with a new 2.0-liter TDCi engine that develops 182 bhp (135 kW). This will reportedly enable the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in eight seconds and have CO2 emissions of 114g/km.

 

A petrol engine will continue to be offered and it is expected to be the same 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder that develops 250 HP (184 kW) and 265 lb-ft (360 Nm) of torque.

 

Both variants will feature echo the facelifted model and feature revised styling, an improved steering system and new tires and wheels.
