最近谍照记者拍到了车身伪装略少的第二代现代i20原型车照片。当时这辆车正在南欧进行测试,车身伪装比先前拍到的测试车略少,这可以让我们看到该车采用了更大的底部前格栅和向后延伸的前大灯。另外值得注意的是该车还采用了垂直尾灯组以及与尾门集成在一起的扰流器,而转向灯则集成在后视镜内。由于i10车身更大,因此第二代i20的三维尺寸可能进一步增加,现代希望能进一步拉开两款车之间的距离。动力系统方面,i20将搭载新的1.0升三缸和1.25升四缸汽油引擎以及1.1升三缸和1.4升四缸涡轮柴油引擎,与之相配的是标配的六速手动变速箱,当然也可选装自动变速箱。而明年发布的i20 N顶级款将使现代进入小型高性能车市场。第二代i20或许会选择在今年10月举行的巴黎车展发布,随后将在今年底或明年初亮相。
Hyundai i20 spied testing with less camo in southern Europe
Our spies grabbed on camera a slightly less disguised prototype of the second-gen Hyundai i20.
This time around the prototype was spied testing in southern Europe wearing a bit less camouflage which allows us to see its bigger lower front grille and sweptback headlights. We also notice the vertical taillights and a tailgate-mounted spoiler while the turn signals are now built into the mirrors. The second generation model will probably grow in size a bit since the i10 is now slightly larger so Hyundai will definitely want to better separate the two.
There won't be any surprises under the hood where the 2015 Hyundai i20 will have 3-cylinder 1.0-liter and 4-cylinder 1.25-liter gasoline engines along with 3-cylinder 1.1- and 4-cylinder 1.4-liter turbodiesels mated to a standard 6-speed manual or an optional automatic 'box. More interesting will be next year's range-topping i20 N part of the company's newly established performance division.
The second generation Hyundai i20 will probably be unveiled in October at the 2014 Paris Motor Show before going on sale late this year or early 2015.
