GMC working on Hummer-like model

A new report indicates GMC is working on a Hummer-like model set to be launched in the years to come.

 

The Hummer might be dead and gone but it seems GMC is currently developing a model which will be a spiritual successor of Arnold Schwarzenegger's favorite car. Our colleagues from The Car Guide had the opportunity to talk to a GMC designer who revealed the company is working on an all-new model to follow the Hummer's footsteps.

 

It will be more than just a Terrain-based model as the new GMC model promises to offer true off-road capabilities and will also boast a different design. It might have something to do with a rumor we heard in January about GMC getting a standalone model but additional details are not available at this point.
