Maserati confirms two world debuts for Geneva

The Geneva Motor Show is right around the corner so Maserati has confirmed plans to stage two world debuts in Switzerland.

 

First up, the Quattroporte Ermenegildo Zegna Limited Edition draws inspiration from Ermenegildo Zegna's line of men's clothing, tailored suits, shoes and accessories. Detailed specifications haven't been announced but the model apparently features leather and cloth seats, an elegant headliner and an individually-numbered plaque. Production will be limited to 100 units to celebrate the company's 100th anniversary.

 

Maserati didn't have much to say about the second model but confirmed it is a "much anticipated concept car that will give a nod to the style of Maseratis of the next 100 years." That's not much to go on but the concept is expected to preview an entry-level model that will compete with the Porsche 911 and Jaguar F-Type. The production model will likely be launched in 2016 and be called the Gran Sport.
