2014 Alfa Romeo MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde unveiled

Alfa Romeo has taken the wraps off the 2014 MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde.

 

Set to debut at the Geneva Motor Show, the Quadrifoglio Verde has a tailgate-mounted spoiler and a sports rear bumper with an integrated extractor. The model has also been equipped with fog lights, a dual exhaust system, cloverleaf badging and "burnished" accents on the grille, door handles and 17-inch alloy wheels.

 

The sporty styling continues in the cabin as drivers will find a leather-wrapped steering wheel, revised instrumentation and faux carbon fiber trim. The model also has special floor mats, dual-zone climate control and a Uconnect infotainment system with a 5-inch display.

 

Motivation is provided by a 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo engine that develops 170 HP (125 kW) and up to 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a dual-clutch transmission which enables the hatchback to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.3 seconds and hit a top speed of 219 km/h (136 mph). In terms of fuel efficiency, owners can expect to average 5.4 L/100 km (43.5 mpg US / 52.3 mpg UK) with CO2 emissions of 124 g/km.
