Alfa Romeo Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde revealed with 240 HP
Alfa Romeo is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Giulietta by introducing a new Quadrifoglio Verde variant at the Geneva Motor Show.
Looking instantly recognizable, the model has been equipped with tinted headlights, a sports exhaust system and 17- or 18-inch alloy wheels. The Quadrifoglio Verde also has special badging and gloss anthracite accents on the grille, door handles and mirrors.
The company will also offer a Launch Edition that is distinguished by modified bumpers, revised side skirts, carbon fiber spoilers and 18-inch alloy wheels with a gloss anthracite finish. The model will be available in three colors - Alfa Red, Competizione Red and exclusive Magnesio Grey - and production will be limited to 500 units.
Moving on to the interior, the Giulietta QV comes nicely equipped with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, sports seats and leather / Alcantara upholstery. The car also has revised instrumentation, alloy pedals and special floor mats. Other highlights include Bluetooth/AUX/USB connectivity and a Uconnect infotainment system with a 5- or 6.5-inch touchscreen display.
Power is provided by a turbocharged 1.75-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 240 HP (176 kW) and 340 Nm (251 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a six-speed dual clutch transmission which enables the model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.6 seconds and hit a top speed in excess of 240 km/h (149 mph).
Speaking of performance, the model has also been equipped with a sport-tuned suspension and a Brembo braking system.
