大众将在下周开幕的日内瓦车展发布Polo系列多款升级版车型。首先是具备越野车外观的CrossPolo，升级版车型将配备17英寸合金轮圈，保险杠底部、侧踏板和轮拱内部将配备防擦条以进一步强化其“越野车”外观。另外，车顶行李架、后视镜盖和前后保险杠还将采用独特的银色嵌条。这款前驱车型还将配备新的方向盘，织物内饰，升级排挡杆和驻车制动杆。接下来是Polo TSI BlueMotion蓝驱车型，该车将搭载一台1.0升三缸涡轮增压汽油引擎，最大功率66千瓦/89马力，车辆百公里油耗4.1升。此外，还将搭载手工制作的1.4升三缸引擎，功率为55千瓦/74马力，车辆百公里油耗3.1升。而低于顶级款Polo GTI的BlueGT车型衍生车型的行驶高度将降低15毫米并配备17英寸轮圈。车辆将提供更具肌肉感保险杠，更宽侧踏板和设置在尾门下的后扰流器。该车动力系统为一台升级版1.4升四缸直喷汽油引擎，最大功率110千瓦/148马力，比前代车型提升了7千瓦/10马力。由于采用了停缸技术，标配六速手动变速器车型的百公里油耗降至4.8升。大众还将为Polo提供改款后的R-Line套装，车厂还将在2015年推出插电混动和可使用压缩天然气作为燃料的版本。

 

Volkswagen updates CrossPolo, Polo BlueMotion and BlueGT for Geneva Motor Show

Volkswagen will be introducing in Geneva next week several updated members of the recently facelifted Polo lineup.

 

First up is the pseudo off-roader CrossPolo which now rides on a fresh new set of 17-inch alloy wheels and benefits from body cladding on the lower areas of the bumpers, sills and within the wheelhouses. It can also be distinguished by its silver inserts on the roof rails, mirror housings and both bumpers. The front-wheel drive CrossPolo gains a new steering wheel, cabin fabrics and updated gear and parking brake lever.

 

Next is the Polo TSI BlueMotion equipped with a three-cylinder, 1.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine rated at 89 bhp (66 kW) which enables the model to return 57.3 mpg US (68.9 mpg UK or 4.1 liters / 100 km). The Polo TDI BlueMotion on the other hand makes use of a three-cylinder 1.4-liter with 74 bhp (55 kW) which is good enough for 75.8 mpg US (91.1 mpg UK or 3.1 liters / 100 km).

 

Sitting below the range-topping Polo GTI is the BlueGT derivative which has a 15mm lowered ride height and 17-inch rims. It benefits from more muscular bumpers, wider side sills and a rear spoiler positioned above the tailgate. Power comes from an updated 4-cylinder, 1.4-liter direct-injection gasoline engine that now delivers 148 bhp (110 kW), making it 10 bhp (7 kW) more powerful than its predecessor. It benefits from a cylinder cut off mechanism which allows the model to return 48.9 mpg US (58.8 mpg UK or 4.8 liters / 100 km) with the standard six-speed manual transmission.

 

Volkswagen has also revised the R-Line packages for the Polo and confirmed plans for plug-in hybrid and CNG versions which are due sometime in 2015.
