2015 Jeep Junior spied inside & out
A convoy of Jeep Junior prototypes have been spied in Northern Europe.
 
The models were heavily camouflaged but they appear to have a shape that mimics the Patriot. Styling details are hard to make out but we can see squared off fenders and distinctive headlights. The model has also been equipped with daytime running lights and square taillights.
 
Our spies were also able to snap an interior photo thanks to an open door. Unfortunately, there isn't much to see besides circular control knobs, chrome accents and a infotainment system.
 
The entry-level crossover is expected to ride on an extended version of the Fiat 500L platform and be offered with a variety of Fiat-sourced engines. Nothing is official but possible candidates include a 0.9-liter TwinAir Turbo with 105 HP (74 kW), a 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo with 160 HP (119 kW) and a 1.6-liter MultiJet II turbodiesel with 105 HP (74 kW).
 
The Jeep Junior could be unveiled as early as next month and adopt the Laredo moniker.
