Hyundai Intrado concept sneaks out before Geneva

Several pictures of the Hyundai Intrado concept have hit the web ahead of its debut at the Geneva Motor Show.

 

Set to become the first model to feature the company's Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design language, the Intrado is a sporty crossover with a distinctive grille that is flanked by LED headlights. The concept has also been equipped muscular fenders, plastic body cladding and a rakish windscreen. Out back, there's a rounded tailgate and C-shaped taillights.

 

The exterior styling won't win everyone over but the cabin appears to be sporty and restrained. Notable highlights include a sport steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster and a freestanding infotainment system. There's also a unique center console and carbon fiber trim.

 

As we have previously reported, the Intrado will ride on a "super-lightweight" structure that uses advanced materials and "revolutionary" construction techniques. It will be powered by a next-generation hydrogen fuel cell system that is smaller and lighter than the one used on the ix35 Fuel Cell.
