The 2015 BMW X4 has been spied wearing less camouflage than ever before.

 

Set to be unveiled later this year, the X4 is based on the X3 and adopts sporty styling inspired by the X6. As a result, the model is equipped with an aggressive front fascia that has a prominent grille and large air intakes. The crossover also has a rakish windscreen and a dramatic roofline that is meant to mimic a coupe.

 

Engine options will likely be shared with the facelifted X3, so expect choices to include:

A 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel with 190 HP (140 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque

A 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel with outputs of 258 HP (190 kW) and 313 HP (230kW )

A 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol with outputs of 184 HP (135 kW) and 245 HP (180 kW)

A 3.0-liter six-cylinder petrol with 306 HP (225 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque
