Range Rover Evoque Autobiography Dynamic heading to Geneva with 285 HP

Range Rover will be introducing the Autobiography trim in the Evoque next month in Geneva, together with a hot Dynamic derivative.

 

The new range-topping Evoque is motivated by a 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine delivering 285 HP (210 kW) and a peak torque of 400 Nm (295 lb-ft), making it 45 HP (33 kW) and 60 Nm (44 lb-ft) more powerful than the previous configuration of the engine. The motor is connected to an updated nine-speed ZF automatic transmission which provides a better response.

 

While the active driveline four-wheel drive system is optional on all Evoque models, it now comes as standard on the Autobiography Dynamic which also benefits from a reworked steering promising to be more precise. Moreover, the vehicle's suspension has been tweaked through recalibrated adaptive dampers, firmer spring rates and retuned suspension geometry.

 

Stopping power now comes from upgraded 350mm front brake discs and standard torque vectoring by braking that reduces understeer on low and high grip surfaces. Another novelty is the Land Rover InControl Apps which provides support for smartphone apps that are displayed and controlled on the Evoque's touchscreen.

 

Inside the cabin the model can be distinguished by its leather upholstery available in six colors, along with the availability of a dynamic plus leather cabin with sports or premium climate seats that can be had in four different hues.
