Hyundai Veloster RE:FLEX Edition unveiled in Chicago

Hyundai has introduced the Veloster RE:FLEX Edition at the Chicago Auto Show.

 

Designed for people who want to "stand out from the crowd," the special edition has been equipped with LED-infused headlights, additional chrome trim and 18-inch alloy wheels.

 

Interior changes are limited but the RE:FLEX Edition comes nicely equipped with black or red leather seats, illuminated door sill plates and special floor mats. The model also has a leather-wrapped steering wheel, piano black trim, alloy pedals and a premium audio system.

 

Under the hood, there's a 1.6-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with 132 bhp (98 kW) and 120 lb-ft (162 Nm) of torque. It is connected to a six-speed dual-clutch transmission which enables the model to return 28 mpg city / 36 mpg highway / 31 mpg combined (US).

 

Production will be limited to 3,000 units but there's no word on pricing.
