The 2015 BMW X6 M has been spied undergoing cold weather testing.

 

Dressed in swirly camouflage, the model is instantly recognizable as it closely echoes its predecessor. As a result, the crossover has been equipped with an aggressive front bumper, an M-specific grille and a four-tailpipe exhaust system. We can also see a tailgate-mounted spoiler, massive alloy wheels and high-performance brakes.

 

Our spies couldn't get close enough to snap interior photos but the model will likely share a number of components with the X5. This means we can expect higher quality materials and possibly a freestanding iDrive display.

 

Power will likely be provided by a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine that produces more than 555 HP (408 kW) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) of torque. This could enable the model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than 4.7 seconds, before hitting an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
