双龙近日宣布,计划在下月开幕的日内瓦车展发布一款名为“XLV”的全新概念车。XLV是XIV-1概念车的后继车型，但该车整体长度增加290毫米至4430毫米，使其成为一款七座布局车型，内部座椅按照2+2+2+1安排。同时，第二排和第三排可以滑动以增加内部空间安排灵活性，因此轴距扩大至2600毫米。该车动力系统为一台1.6升四缸柴油引擎和一台电机及锂电池组。概念车宽度为1845毫米，高1600毫米，车辆设计采用了双龙的“Nature born 3 motion“设计语言。基于XLV的量产版将于明年某个时间发布。

 

SsangYong previews XLV concept, debuts next month in Geneva

SsangYong has announced plans to show a brand new concept called "XLV" at next month's Geneva Motor Show.

 

XLV will be a follow-up to the XIV-1 concept but with an overall length increased by 290mm to 4430mm which will grant the vehicle with a seven-seat arrangement in a 2+2+2+1 cabin layout. SsangYong specifies the seventh seat can slide between the second and third rows for an increased flexibility of the spacious cabin as a result of the generous 2600mm wheelbase.

 

Motivation of the B-segment SUV will be provided by a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine working together with an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery pack to create a hybrid powertrain. The concept is 1845mm wide and 1600mm tall and utilizes SsangYong's most recent "Nature born 3 motion" design language.

 

A production model based on the XLV concept will reportedly come out sometime in 2015.
