Mercedes AMG GT spied near the Arctic Circle
Development work continues on the Mercedes AMG GT as our spies have caught the model undergoing cold weather testing near the Arctic Circle.
Designed to battle the Porsche 911, the AMG GT will be a stylish sports car with a long hood and an active rear spoiler. The model also has a dual exhaust system, slender taillights and traditional doors.
Engine options remain unconfirmed but the car could use a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 that produces approximately 485 HP (357 kW). This should enable the model to be relatively quick as it is expected to tip the scales at roughly 3,417 lbs (1,550 kg).
Mercedes has remained relatively quiet about the model but previous rumors have suggested it could debut at the German Grand Prix on July 20th.
