Hyundai has introduced the 2014 Genesis Coupe.

Modestly revised, the model comes with additional standard equipment including heated exterior mirrors and fog lights. The model is also available in five new colors: Santiago Silver, Ibiza Blue, Caspian Black, Casablanca White and Empire State Gray.

Interior changes are limited but the model gains floor mats, cruise control and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with the HomeLink wireless control system. Other changes include an improved navigation system, enhanced seat bolsters on R-Spec variants and Blue Link telematics with Assurance Connected Care which includes Automatic Collision Notification, SOS Emergency Assistance and Enhanced Roadside Assistance.

Under the hood, two engines are available. The turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder produces 274 bhp (204 kW) and 275 lb-ft (372 Nm) of torque, while the 3.8-liter V6 develops 348 bhp (259 kW) and 295 lb-ft (399 Nm) of torque (on premium fuel).

The engines can be connected to an improved six-speed manual that has carbon-coated synchronizer rings for "smoother shift action and enhanced synchronizer durability." Customers can also order an eight-speed automatic that boasts enhanced paddle-shifters and "engine RPM downshift rev-matching."
