奔驰正式在底特律车展发布了2014款C级车。新车比老款车更大，更豪华，重新设计的车型采用更显档次外观设计，很多设计元素取自E级和S级车型。新车采用了LED前大灯，时尚的车顶线条和圆形车尾。车厢内也获得显著升级，采用更高档装饰材料和更具现代感设计。置身方向盘后的驾驶员最先看到的是独立式COMAND显示屏和新的触控板控制键，按照车厂的说法，COMAND信息娱乐系统可提供“非常简单和直观的操控”。车厢内其他亮点包括圆形空调出风口，金属装饰和各种开关。在上市之初，C级车可提供三种引擎，分别是2.2升四缸柴油引擎，最大功率125千瓦/170马力，扭矩400牛米；1.6升四缸汽油引擎，功率115千瓦/156马力，扭矩250牛米；2.0升四缸引擎，功率135千瓦/184马力，扭矩300牛米。根据搭载的不同引擎，可搭配六速手动或7G-TRONIC PLUS自动变速器。某些车型还可选装4MATIC全轮驱动系统。

 

2014 Mercedes C-Class debuts in Detroit

Mercedes has officially unveiled the 2014 C-Class at the North American International Auto Show.

 

Larger and more luxurious than its predecessor, the redesigned model has an upscale exterior that borrows cues from the E- and S-Class. As a result, it has LED-infused headlights, a stylish roofline and a rounded rear end.

 

The cabin has been significantly improved with higher quality materials and a modern design. Once ensconced behind the steering wheel, drivers will notice a free-standing COMAND display and a new touchpad controller that promises to provide "very simple and intuitive operation" of the COMAND infotainment system. Other highlights include a circular air vents, metallic trim and premium switchgear.

 

At launch, the C-Class will available with three different engines including:

A 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel with 170 HP (125 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque

A 1.6-liter petrol with 156 HP (115 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque

A 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 184 HP (135 kW) and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque

 

Depending on which engine is selected, it will be connected to a six-speed manual or a 7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic transmission. Certain models can also be equipped with an optional 4MATIC all-wheel drive system.
