2014款宝马M4轿跑车在北美车展开幕第一天就首次在公众面前亮相。宝马的首款M4与M3轿车同台展示，这两款车共享新开发的3.0升六缸TwinPower Turbo引擎，最大功率317千瓦/431马力，扭矩550牛米。在标配六速手动变速器时车辆百公里加速时间4.3秒，而如果选装七速 M DCT变速器，加速时间还缩短0.2秒。无论选择何种变速器，M4的电子限速为250公里。如果你觉得速度不够快，可以再多掏钱配备M Driver套装，使时速提升至280公里。在设计方面，M4轿跑车与四门版车型一模一样，两车同样采用侵略性车身组件和18英寸M合金轮圈（可选装19英寸轮圈）。该车一项重要配置是碳纤维车顶，可使车辆整备质量降低6公斤，同时车辆重心也进一步降低。

 

2014 BMW M4 Coupe graces Detroit crowd

The 2014 BMW M4 Coupe has made its public debut today on the inaugural day of the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

 

BMW's first ever M4 is being showcased along its M3 sedan sibling in Detroit these days with both cars sharing a newly developed 3.0-liter 6-cylinder TwinPower Turbo rated at 431 HP (317 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft). When configured with the standard 6-speed manual transmission the M4 Coupe will need 4.3 seconds to get from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) while with the optional 7-speed M DCT the time is slashed by 0.2 seconds.

 

Regardless of the selected gearbox, the BMW M4 Coupe will have an electronically-limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). If that's not enough, deep digger into your pocket and opt for the M Driver's Package which will raise the limiter to 174 mph (280 km/h).

 

In terms of design, the M4 Coupe clearly echoes the four-door variant since it has a similar aggressive exterior body kit and 18-inch M alloy wheels (optional 19-inch available). One of the most important features is the carbon fiber roof which shaves off 6 kg (13 lbs) from the car's weight and at the same time lowers its center of gravity.
