Rolls-Royce Ghost V-Specification officially announced with 593 bhp

Rolls-Royce has officially unveiled the new Ghost V-Specification.

 

Available as a standard or long-wheelbase model, the Ghost V-Specification is a 'driver's car' that features special coachlines and 21-inch alloy wheels. The model also has a bespoke clock, steel inlays and a "V-Specification motif" on the seats and dashboard.

 

The biggest changes are under the hood as the 6.6-liter V12 engine produces 593 bhp (422 kW) and 780 Nm (575 lb-ft) of torque - an increase of 30 bhp (22 kW). Thanks to the extra oomph, the Ghost V-Spec accelerates from 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds before hitting a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).

 

According to Rolls-Royce CEO Torsten Müller-?tv?s, “This limited series celebrates one of Ghost’s defining characteristics; the exquisite 6.6 litre Rolls-Royce V12 engine." He went on to say "Since its introduction in 2009, an extraordinary marriage of assured presence and remarkable driving dynamics has endeared Ghost to a new generation of highly discerning businessmen and women, ensuring the car’s position as the statement of choice for a growing band of successful entrepreneurs around the world.”

 

The Ghost V-Specification will be available to order from January to June 2014.
