8月28日,北京汽车股份有限公司发布了2018年上半年业绩公告,北汽今年上半年北京汽车实现营业收入769.02亿元,同比增长约15.2%;净利润达80.45亿元,同比增长约59.4%。北京汽车是北汽集团乘用车整车资源聚合和业务发展的平台,主要业务涵盖乘用车研发、制造、销售与售后服务,乘用车核心零部件生产、汽车金融、以及其他相关业务。而乘用车业务部分目前通过北京品牌、北京奔驰、北京现代和福建奔驰四大整车板块开展。因受行业竞争加剧以及自身产品周期换挡、产品结构调整等内部因素制约,北京品牌上半年整车销量回落,实现销售7.3万辆,同比下降33.6%。而其合资品牌销量部分均有所上涨,今年上半年,北京奔驰实现整车销售25.2万辆,同比增长19.6%;北京现代实现整车销售38万辆,同比增长26.2%;福建奔驰今年上半年实现整车销售1.4万辆,同比增长38.4%。
BAIC Motor net profit soars 59.4% year on year in H1
BAIC Motor reported a revenue growth of 15.2% year on year to RMB 76.902 billion. Its net profit reached RMB 8.045 billion, soaring 59.4% from a year ago, according to its 2018 H1 financial report released on Aug. 28. BAIC Motor attributed the revenue growth to the increase of Beijing Benz's revenue.
BAIC Motor is a platform of complete vehicle resource integration and business development for BAIC Group's passenger vehicle, covering the businesses in passenger vehicle R&D, manufacturing, sales and aftersales service, manufacturing of passenger vehicle's core parts, auto finance and other vehicle-relevant business. BAIC Motor currently runs its passenger car business through four complete vehicle sectors-BJ Brand, Beijing Benz, Beijing Hyundai and Fujian Benz.
BJ Brand suffered a 33.6% YoY sales slump to 73,000 units in the first half of 2018, mainly resulting from the factors such as intensified competition in auto industry and adjustment of product structure. Other JV brands experienced sales growth in the first half of 2018. Specifically, Beijing Benz enjoyed 19.6% sales growth over the previous year to 252,000 units in the first half of 2018. Beijing Hyundai and Fujian Benz delivered 380,000 vehicles and 14,000 vehicles with YoY growth of 26.2% and 38.4% respectively from January to June.
