保时捷近日宣布，MissionE将更名为“Taycan”。据说这一名称的含义是“活泼的年轻骏马”意在表明这是一辆保时捷的扛鼎之作。保时捷董事会主席OliverBlume表示：”我们的这款电动跑车动力强劲，质量可靠。该车可进行长距离行驶。该车功率达到600马力，搭载了双永磁同步电机和800伏电池系统。预计车辆百公里加速时间仅需3.5秒，加速至时速200公里也仅需12秒。保时捷将Taycan打造成一辆可以在赛道行驶的电动车，围绕赛道行驶多圈也不会出现电池过热导致的动力衰减。

 

Porsche renames Mission E to 'Taycan'

Porsche has announced that its Mission E will be sold under a different name as the Taycan.

 

The term -- pronounced tie-con not tey-kuhn -- is said to be roughly translated as "lively young horse" in reference to the imagery at the heart of the Porsche crest.

 

"Our new electric sports car is strong and dependable; it's a vehicle that can consistently cover long distances and that epitomises freedom," says Porsche chief Oliver Blume.

 

The performance marque's first all-electric production car boasts an output of over 600 horsepower via dual permanent magnet synchronous motors (PSM) and an 800-volt battery system. The car is expected to launch from zero to 62 mph in under 3.5 seconds and up to 124 mph in under 12 seconds.

 

Porsche has billed the Taycan as a track-capable EV, designed to support multiple jump starts in quick succession without power loss due to battery overheating.
