大众刚刚在法兰克福车展发布了其紧凑型跨界车T-Roc的R-Line版本，而最近谍照记者拍到了另一款车型。T-Roc的R-Line只是对车辆外装和内装进行了升级，但动力系统没有改变。而这次谍照记者拍到的是真正的R版本，该车搭载了一台取自高尔夫R的2.0升四缸涡轮引擎。欧版车型的引擎功率为310马力，相对于T-Roc顶级款的188马力是一个很大的提升。从测试车的情况来看，此次曝光的这辆T-ROCR相比于普通版的R-Line套件车型并没有太大的差异，整体的形象依旧是非常的低调。不过在车辆尾部，测试车配备了双边双出的椭圆形排气管，另外在前保险杠两侧的LED日间行车灯也取消了普通版车型上的环型布局，以传统的条状结构示人。为了应对更大的动力输出，T-ROCR也将标配四驱系统，同时悬挂也将进行调整。预计大众将扩大T-Roc的车型阵容。
VW T-Roc R Seen At Nurburgring With Golf R's 310 HP Engine
We just had an up-close look at the sporty version of Volkswagen’s compact crossover at the Frankfurt Motor Show, known as the R-Line, but the vehicle seen here isn’t it. The R-Line is an appearance package that adds a modest body kit along with some spiffy interior upgrades, but leaves the powertrain alone. According to our spy sources this blue T-Roc is an actual R model, complete with the same turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder from the Golf R. That engine makes 310 horsepower in European trim, which would be quite a step up from the 188 hp currently available in a top-of-the-line T-Roc.
There’s not much else we know about this R model. There are rumors circulating that it might not even make it to production, though with Golf DNA already infused into the T-Roc and a sporty appearance package established, offering more power doesn’t seem like it would be a stretch. The R model would almost certainly send power to all four wheels, and there would likely be some suspension changes as well.
Appearance wise, we note just a few small changes on this model versus other T-Rocs we’ve seen. The most obvious difference is the quad oval exhaust tips, but we also see slight differences in the daytime running lamps.
Volkswagen is expecting big things from the T-Roc in the rapidly expanding compact crossover segment.
