保时捷近日确认计划向中国市场提供“特供”版718系列Cayman和Boxster。所谓“特供”是指车辆售价低于人民币60万元的“入门级车型”，而此前提供的版本售价约为人民币70万元。当然，价格拉低是有代价的，那就是“动力缩水”，标准版车型搭载一台2.0升四缸涡轮增压引擎，功率300马力，扭矩280磅-英尺（约合380牛米），但“特供版”虽然搭载相同引擎，但功率调低至250马力，扭矩310牛米。如果配备PDK变速器，718 Cayman百公里加速时间5.6秒，资格时速260公里；如果选装Sport Chrono套装，加速时间降至5.4秒，而718 Boxster性能指标与718 Cayman差不多。这意味着，功率降低50马力，百公里加速时间增加0.7秒，最高时速降低15公里。同时油耗也相应降低，百公里油耗9-10.4升，每公里二氧化碳排放量降低10克。

 

Porsche to sell less powerful Cayman, Boxster in China

Porsche has confirmed plans to offer more affordable Cayman and Boxster variants in China.

 

The company's head of 718-series cars, Jan Roth, told Automotive News the move is aimed to bring the lineup's local purchase price to below 600,000 renminbi (~$90,500 USD), described as a "magical threshold" in the country. Previous editions are said to have fethed around 700,000 renminbi (~$105,600 USD).

 

A new 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine powers the new 718 due, producing 300 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque，although are equipped with the same 2-liter turbo engine,

but the output has gone down from 300 to 250 hp. We're a bit more shocked with the 310 Nm of torque, which is appalling.

 

When equipped with a PDK gearbox, the Cayman coupe is able to sprint to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds while achieving a top speed of 260 km/h. Sport Chrono brings things down to 5.4 seconds, while the 718 Boxster does pretty much the same thing.

 

That means the 50 lost horsepower resulted in an increase of 0.7 seconds in the 0 to 100 km/h sprint time and a 15 km/h top speed decrease. The weird thing is that losing power has had an adverse effect on the fuel consumption, which has gone from 9 to 10.4 liters per 100 kilometers. CO2 emissions have increased by about 10 grams.
