首辆沃尔沃V90旅行车当地时间23日在瑞典驶下生产线。仅仅在几周前，Torslanda工厂刚刚生产了第一辆S90轿车。V90是沃尔沃基于SPA模块化平台开发的第三款车型，另外两款车是S90和XC90。为满足新车生产，该厂在过去两年将雇员数量增加了一倍，目前达到6300人。V90可提供两种动力系统，其中T5版本搭载一台2.0升涡轮引擎，功率250马力，但只搭配前轮驱动，而T6版本搭载2.0升涡轮和机械增压引擎，功率316马力，搭配全轮驱动。未来还将增加T8插电混动版本，与S90和XC90 T8保持一致性。沃尔沃还将于今年秋季推出T6的Polestar高性能版本，同时，车厂已经推出了V90的R-Design内外装升级版。最后，还将增加一款具备微软越野能力的V90 Cross Country。

 

First Volvo V90 station wagon rolls off production line in Sweden

The first production Volvo V90 station wagon rolled off the assembly line today. The completion of the first customer-ready V90 comes only a few weeks after Volvo’s Torslanda, Sweden, plant built the first example of the mechanically related S90 sedan.

 

The V90 is the third Volvo to be built on the company’s new Scalable Platform Architecture (SPA) modular chassis, following the S90 and the XC90 crossover. To cope with the additional vehicle launches, the Torslanda plant has doubled its staffing over the past two years, to about 6,300 employees now.

 

The Volvo V90 is launching with two powertrain options. The T5 will have a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine good for 250 horsepower, which comes only with front-wheel drive, while the T6 has a turbo- and supercharged 2.0-liter engine with 316 hp and all-wheel drive. There will also be a T8 plug-in hybrid version later, matching the S90 and XC90 T8 models. Tuning division Polestar will launch upgrades for the T6 engine this fall, while extra visual flair is available in the form of a new R-Design pack for the V90. And eventually, Volvo may sate our desire for mild off-roading with a V90 Cross Country.
