第四代西亚特B级车是在2008年上市的，因此现在已经到了升级换代的时候。西亚特计划在今年巴黎车展发布第五代车型，而最近谍照记者也拍到了采用量产版车身的原型车。这款车的车身伪装更少，可以看出它采用了类似Leon的设计。新车的车身尺寸比老款车略大，内部可能会采用大众的MQB平台。至于动力系统，预计包括1.0升三缸涡轮。而现行版搭载的1.4TSI或许会继续提供，但大众计划用全新1.5TSI替代这台引擎。作为一款小型车，不要指望该车会搭载大排量柴油引擎，而1.4和1.6升TDI最有可能。而1.6升引擎也有可能会被新的1.5TDI所替代。这两台1.5升引擎将配备在明年发布的高尔夫改款车上，然后才会陆续提供给其他品牌的车型。西亚特未来还将推出动力更强劲的Cupra版本，不过该车最快也要等到2018年才会推出，而标准版则是在明年上市。另外，虽然该车要等到10月巴黎车展才能与公众见面，但西亚特很可能会在9月在线发布这款车。
2017 SEAT Ibiza spied hiding production body
The fourth generation of SEAT’s B-segment model has been around since 2008, so naturally a replacement is being prepared. We learned a short while ago the plan is to show the fifth-gen Ibiza at the upcoming Paris Motor Show in October which is why these latest spy photos show a prototype carrying the production body. It looks pretty much ready to lose the disguise and reveal its Leon-influenced design.
A slight increase in size is expected compared to the outgoing model while underneath the skin will probably be an adaptation of the MQB platform combined with bits and pieces from the current car. As far as the engines are concerned, the turbocharged 1.0-liter three-cylinder will likely find its way underneath the hood. The existing 1.4 TSI will probably be offered by SEAT as well, but we know the Volkswagen Group has plans to phase out this engine and replace it with an all-new 1.5 TSI.
Being a small car, don't expect any large diesel engines, which is why we believe SEAT will sell the new Ibiza with the 1.4 and 1.6 TDI duo. It's worth mentioning the 1.6 will also be axed to make room for a new 1.5 TDI. These two 1.5 engines will debut on the facelifted Golf 7 next year and then will trickle down to lesser models from the group.
Further down the line, a spicy Cupra version will join the range, but that’s unlikely to happen sooner than 2018 taking into account the regular model is set to go on sale early 2017. Meanwhile, SEAT is gearing up for a Paris public debut of the standard car at the beginning of October, so look for an online reveal possibly sometime in September.
