Bentley unveils 2017 GT Speed lineup in NYC

Bentley has staged the North American debut of the 2017 Continental GT Speed lineup in New York City.

 

Set to arrive at dealerships later this summer, the 2017 Continental GT Speed is priced from $240,300 and features an upgraded biturbo 6.0-liter W12 engine that produces 633 horsepower and 620 pound-feet of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission and a rear-biased all-wheel drive system that enables the car to accelerate from 0-60 miles per hour in 3.9 seconds before hitting a top speed of 206 mph.

 

The convertible variant is virtually identical to the coupe but it starts at $264,300. The model is also slightly slower as the dash from 0-60 mph takes 4.0 seconds and its top speed is 204 mph.

 

Buyers looking for something more exclusive will want to check out the Black Edition which features high gloss black accents, red or black brake calipers, and 21-inch alloy wheels with a black finish. The special edition also has a contrasting paint job on the front splitter, side skirts, and rear diffuser. Rounding out the changes is a unique interior with two-tone seats and carbon fiber trim.

 

Pricing starts at $253,235 for the GT Speed Black Edition coupe, while the Black Edition convertible retails for $277,235.
