Sales of Taurus Hit Great Drop in the Chinese Market in April

Sales of Taurus, the latest flagship mode of Changan Ford, dropped to 403 units in April from 3,759 units in March.

 

Government officers in China have reportedly been major customers of Taurus. And Chinese authorities seemingly may prefer to make great purchase in December and January, causing considerable rise of 4,000 units in sales of Taurus.

 

Launch of this allegedly high-end product had taken several months. Joint effort of experts, designers and technicians may guarantee quality of Taurus, according to Ma Ruiling, president of Changan Ford. However, launch of products may seem easier for automakers than appropriate marketing decision.

 

Seasonal consumption of officers may be able to have great impact on sales of Taurus, resulting sales drop in March and April.
