近日,沃尔沃汽车集团亚太区宣布:从2016年6月1日起,沃尔沃汽车中国台湾市场总经理陈立哲先生被任命为沃尔沃汽车中国销售公司总经理,全面负责市场、销售、渠道及售后业务。陈立哲先生于2005年加入沃尔沃汽车中国台湾公司,此后历任市场总监、市场与销售总监等职,2009年升任总经理,负责整个台湾市场以销售和业务拓展为重心的运营,并取得了连年平均销售增长40%的业绩。一些业内专家认为,陈立哲在销售方面非常富有经验,将会成为一名优秀的销售经理,他将领导沃尔沃开发市场并使销售业务稳定增长。作为一家对国际市场雄心勃勃的豪华车品牌,沃尔沃需要一位深刻理解中国未来市场全面战略规划的全能型总裁。有鉴于此,陈立哲不太可能未来成为沃尔沃新的总裁和CEO。
Chen Lizhe promoted General Manager at Volvo Sales, President still vacant
Volvo Cars(Asia Pacific) announced on May 27th that Chen Lizhe, General Manager in charge of the company’s sales in Taiwan market, will be promoted to be the General Manager at Volvo China Sales Company, responsible for marketing, sales, channels and aftersales, effective from June 1st, 2016.
Mr.Chen joined Volvo China(Taiwan) in 2005, working for the company as marketing director and sales director successively. He was promoted to be the General Manager in charge of the sales and business development in Taiwan market in 2009 and scored a great report card of 40% growth successively in several years.
Some industry experts believed, Mr.Chen, who is very experienced in sales, will make a good General Manager and lead Volvo to develop marketing and sales business steadily. But as a luxury brand with international ambition, what Volvo really needs for a President now is an all-round leader with profound understanding in the comprehensive strategy planning of China’s future market.
For that, Chen Lizhe may be not the one for Volvo’s new president and CEO right now.
