或许你以前看过第四代福特福克斯谍照，新车比老款车更长，更宽。但这次一位意大利设计师发布了他绘制的新一代福克斯合成图，让我们能更清楚的提前看到新车模样。从合成图看，新车很多元素取自蒙迪欧，外观更漂亮，是一款车身尺寸全面扩大的五门掀背车。从车头看，新一代福克斯放弃了现行版的双氙气前大灯而采用LED大灯，预计是受到其他竞争车型的影响。而前大灯形状和阿斯顿马丁风格格栅则更是移植自蒙迪欧。这些改变使新一代福克斯外观更显档次，而更大进气口则使外观更具运动风格。福特已经承诺将全面改变福克斯外观设计，使其具备“轿跑车一样顺滑的外观”，这也是合成图采用更顺滑车顶的原因。另外，后车门更长一遍能更好的反映出新车进一步增加的轴距，这也使后排乘客腿部空间更充裕。由于车身尺寸增加，行李箱空间也更大，使新车实用性超过老款车。预计福特将在明年上半年发布新一代福克斯，随后将作为2018款车型上市。在掀背车上市之后，福特还将发布旅行车和四门轿车。

 

Posh 2018 Ford Focus gets Mondeo traits in speculative render

You’ve probably seen the spy photos with the test mule, but those only showed how the fourth installment of the Ford Focus will be longer and wider. Now, it’s time to speculate on how the styling will evolve for the Blue Oval’s ever so popular compact hatchback. Our Italian colleagues at OmniAuto have decided to infuse some Mondeo traits for the all-new Focus, proposing a posh appearance for the enlarged five-door hatchback.

 

Starting with the front, Ford’s fourth-gen Focus makes the switch from the current model’s bi-xenon headlights to a full LED arrangement which is expected taking into account several segment rivals already have it. The shape of the headlights and the Aston Martin-esque grille are influenced by the Mondeo/Fusion and lend the 2018 Focus an upscale look while the larger air vents make it a bit sportier as well.

 

Ford has already promised the overhauled Focus will have the “sleek look of a coupe” which is why the speculative render proposes a more sloped roofline. It’s also got slightly longer rear doors to better reflect the car’s stretched wheelbase which will pay dividends in terms of rear legroom. The increased footprint will also enable a more spacious trunk, making the Focus IV considerably more practical than the current car which isn’t exactly a top performer as far as the space it offers.

 

Expect the new and improved Focus to be introduced at a car show in the first half of 2017, before going on sale likely as a 2018MY. It should be followed shortly by the wagon and a four-door sedan.
