最近谍照记者拍到了奔驰GLC轿跑车近乎无伪装的照片，该车未来竞争车型主要是宝马X4。从照片看，车身前半部分与GLC标准版无异，改变主要是从B柱往后，后半部分的车型线条更倾斜，使侧面轮廓更像一辆轿跑车。虽然有部分消费者喜欢这样的“混搭”风格，但也必须指出，这样的设计导致后排头部空间更局促，行李箱容积更小。整体来看，这款跨界轿跑车外观比更大的GLE轿跑车更合适一些。虽然GLE轿跑车和GLC轿跑车外观差不多，但由于后者车身尺寸更小，采用轿跑车风格看起来更舒服一些。该车将与标准版共享MRA平台，因此两车的引擎和变速箱也是共享的。更重要的是，两车的内装也基本相同，因此不要指望GLC轿跑车的内部会有什么新鲜的东西。考虑到这辆原型车基本没有伪装，因此该车很可能会在近期发布。奔驰可能会在本月底的纽约车展或下月的北京车展发布该车。

 

Mercedes GLC Coupe drops almost all disguise

Mercedes’ belated answer to the BMW X4 is just about ready for the battle as several near-production GLC Coupe prototypes were spotted almost undisguised.

 

Looking at these images, it’s easy to notice the front half of the car will be basically the same as the regular GLC, with the changes occurring after the B-pillars where the roofline is more inclined to mimic a coupe-like profile. While some are fans of this crossover coupe mashup, it’s important to mention there are a couple of disadvantages that come with the body style change. Rear headroom will not be as good as on the standard GLC and it the same story with the trunk as the cargo capacity will shrink.

 

Overall, the crossover coupe design created by Mercedes seems to suit the GLC Coupe better compared to the larger GLE Coupe. The styling of these two models will be very similar, but the GLC’s smaller proportions appear to be more compatible with the rather controversial body style.

 

The GLC Coupe will ride on the same MRA platform as the regular GLC, so it will use virtually the same engines and gearboxes. Moreover, the interior cabin will be essentially carried over from the conventional compact crossover, so don’t hold your breath for something new.

 

Taking into account these prototypes have very little disguise, we expect an official reveal to occur in the coming weeks. Mercedes could decide to unveil the GLC Coupe later this month at the New York Auto Show or in late April during the Beijing Motor Show.
